What You'll Do
- Lead the development and deployment of machine learning models to improve pricing mechanisms, including dynamic, surge, and personalized pricing systems.
- Identify opportunities where machine learning can enhance pricing performance and expand into adjacent domains.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and integrate models into production workflows.
- Conduct exploratory analysis to uncover patterns in pricing behavior and engineer features that improve model accuracy.
- Apply statistical and machine learning methods to train, validate, and refine predictive models.
- Monitor deployed models for performance degradation, data drift, and business impact, ensuring long-term reliability.
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders, enabling data-informed decision-making across teams.
- Ensure high standards of data quality and champion best practices in data governance across the organization.
- Document model design, implementation, and performance to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to building a strong data culture by mentoring peers and improving team processes.
Requirements
- Master’s or higher degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- At least two years of professional experience in data science with strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Proven ability to write clean, efficient, production-grade code and apply software engineering principles to data science workflows.
- Experience in pricing, economics, or causal inference is highly valued.
- Strong grasp of statistical testing, hypothesis validation, and causal analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data and machine learning platforms—Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Experience across the full ML lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and monitoring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Self-driven with strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
