Dandy is looking for a Clinical Field Trainer - West Coast to lead impactful, in-person training that accelerates early clinical success with our digital dentistry solutions. You will serve as a trusted clinical advisor, helping dental practices adopt intraoral scanning and digital workflows. This is a field-based role with up to 85% travel.
What You'll Do
- Lead high-touch, in-person trainings to support doctors and staff in adopting intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
- Coach teams based on live observation, reinforcing best practices and adapting in real time to meet the practice's goals and maturity level.
- Drive early case submission during training by removing blockers, reinforcing clinical urgency, and building confidence.
- Partner with clinicians and practice leaders to reinforce scanning habits and support early adoption.
- Monitor outcomes in the first 30 days and surface targeted coaching opportunities to accelerate success.
- Share field insights to inform scalable resources, improve onboarding, and strengthen future trainings.
- Assess readiness across clinical workflows, team structure, and equipment to proactively surface blockers or risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the right resources, messaging, and tools are in place before training day.
- Customize training strategies based on practice size, complexity, and clinical goals.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience delivering clinical training in digital dentistry or dental technology.
- Strong familiarity with intraoral scanning and digital workflows.
- Experience training cohorts of up to ten assistants or staff at a time.
- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel up to 85% to deliver in-practice training and support.
- Located near a major airport (SFO) and within a 60-minute drive to the airport.
- Comfortable partnering with senior leaders, clinicians, and staff across roles to influence behavior and drive adoption.
- Comfortable operating independently in the field, adjusting plans in real-time based on practice dynamics and needs.
- 3+ years managing training logistics, readiness assessments, and multi-practice coordination in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to adjust tone and approach based on audience.
- Passion for helping practices succeed, with a solutions-oriented approach to onboarding, training, and adoption.
