Henry Ford Health is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for IPD Nursing to provide clinical support at the unit level in Grand Blanc, Michigan. You will play a key role in patient care coordination, staff coaching, and ensuring smooth unit operations under the direction of the Director or Unit Manager.
What You'll Do
- Provide clinical support at the unit level under the direction of the Director or Manager.
- Assist with direct patient care as necessary.
- Assist with patient flow throughout the hospital stay, including admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Assess patient condition.
- Complete clinical tasks such as IVs and blood draws.
- Respond to all clinical emergency situations.
- Recognize, resolve, and report immediate situations that jeopardize patient rights, safety, or customer service.
- Coach patient care unit staff in clinical practice, critical thinking, and customer service skill development.
- Coordinate bed utilization within inpatient hospital patient care units.
What We're Looking For
- Two to three years of relevant acute care nursing experience.
- Michigan Nursing License.
- Health care provider certification (BCLS).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong facilitative interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
- ACLS certification.
