About the Role

Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Client Referral Specialist to support individuals with communication impairments. In this remote role, you will coordinate speech therapy evaluations by building lasting relationships with speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and managing the scheduling and preparation for AAC evaluations.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and establish relationships with qualified SLPs to support client evaluations.
  • Explain the At-Home Trial process to providers and organize training sessions for incoming referrals.
  • Schedule evaluations and confirm SLP availability for each client.
  • Facilitate communication between Clinical Technology Consultants and SLPs.
  • Manage clinical training materials, referrals, and evaluation equipment logistics.
  • Ensure all documentation and client forms are complete and compliant.
  • Track performance metrics and report on individual and team progress weekly.
  • Maintain CRM documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to best practice development.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in patient navigation, advocacy, or a coordination role in healthcare.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in phone, written, and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable using HubSpot, Microsoft Excel/Word, and Slack.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with secure internet access.
  • Occasional travel within the U.S. (approximately twice per year).

Nice to Have

  • Associate’s degree.
  • Familiarity with AAC devices, SLP practices, and insurance policies.
