Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a diligent Cleaner for a full-time position on the 1st shift. In this role, you will perform essential custodial tasks to maintain our facilities to established standards, working under the guidance of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor.
What You'll Do
- Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces inside the building.
- Operate light and heavy commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines.
- Vacuum and spot clean rugs in offices and public areas.
- Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, door trim, and all other horizontal surfaces.
- Wash interior glass, windowsills, and specified windows.
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, restock supplies, and empty waste baskets.
- Monitor and report maintenance issues like clogged fixtures or lights out.
- Collect building trash daily and manage waste container liners.
- Clear snow from steps and walkways as directed.
- Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks such as high dusting and wall washing.
- Execute any other assigned duties to support the team.
What We're Looking For
- No previous experience required for basic cleaning responsibilities.
- Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision as part of a team.
- Capability to use standard cleaning tools and equipment.
- Experience using a portable backpack vacuum cleaner.
- Strong attention to detail, pride in service, organizational skills, and high energy.
