Responsibilities
- Review and explain policy coverage and the claims process to customers.
- Set reserves for expected costs and coordinate vehicle inspections and rental authorizations.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns during the claim process to maintain satisfaction and retention.
- Use phone calls, emails, texts, and letters to gather information from involved parties and witnesses.
- Examine law enforcement reports and collect additional evidence like dash cam or surveillance footage to determine facts and liability.
- Identify and escalate high-risk files with significant exposure or suspected fraud to supervisors for further review.
- Analyze medical records to evaluate, negotiate, and settle moderate bodily injury claims with legal counsel for represented and unrepresented parties.
- Act as the main contact for customers, coordinating with other departments to ensure a smooth claims experience and full satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to address the needs of shared customers when necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume work environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree
- 6 to 12 months of claims adjusting experience
- Prior experience working in a remote environment is a plus

- Training consists of 8 weeks of paid training, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:45pm PST.
- After training, a fixed schedule of 40 hours per week Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:45pm CST is offered.
- An in-person interview may be required during the hiring process.
- For remote or hybrid work-from-home positions, team members must maintain reliable high-speed internet service that supports day-to-day job responsibilities, with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps. Team members are responsible for maintaining sufficient internet connectivity to perform their role effectively while working from home.
