Sedgwick was looking for a Claims Representative Trainee - IAP (Entry Level - ON-SITE)

Sedgwick is looking for a Claims Representative Trainee to join our team in Bartlesville, OK. You will be oriented and trained as a new industry professional, learning to analyze workers compensation, general liability, or disability claims and determine benefits due. This is an entry-level opportunity with a rapidly growing, industry-leading global company known for its caring culture focused on empathy, accountability, and professional development.

What You'll Do

  • Attend and complete a designated classroom claims professional training program.
  • Perform on-the-job training activities including adjusting lost-time workers compensation claims under close supervision.
  • Adjust low and mid-level liability and/or physical damage claims under close supervision.
  • Process disability claims of minimal disability duration under close supervision.
  • Document claims files and properly code claim activity.
  • Communicate claim action and processing with claimants and clients.
  • Support other claims examiners and supervisors with larger or more complex claims as assigned.
  • Participate in rotational assignments to provide temporary support for office needs.

What We're Looking For

  • No experience required with a college degree.
  • If you do not have a degree: a state license, self-insured certificate, WCCA/WCCP designation, or completion of the Sedgwick Claims Progression Program is required.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Prior claims experience.
