Sedgwick is hiring a remote Claims Representative to adjudicate low-level general liability claims, ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices. You'll join a team dedicated to empathetic and accountable claims management, working from Hawaii.
What You'll Do
- Process low-level general liability claims by gathering information, determining liability exposure, and assigning reserve values.
- Develop and coordinate claims' action plans to resolution, manage return-to-work efforts, and approve claim payments.
- Administer subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements within designated authority.
- Communicate claim actions clearly with claimants and clients.
- Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is accurate.
- May process low-level lifetime medical or defined period medical claims, including state and physician filings.
- Maintain professional client relationships and support the organization's quality programs.
- Travel as required.
What We're Looking For
- Two (2) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- HAWAII License is required.
- Bodily Injury experience is required.
