Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is looking for a Civil Engineer (Structural Engineering) to join the Structural Engineering department in Krefeld. You will review plans, develop design concepts, and advise on contracts for a variety of civil engineering infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do
- Review and advise on plans and designs for civil engineering structures.
- Develop and implement fundamental design concepts for civil engineering structures, including feasibility and design studies.
- Advise branch offices on awarding engineering services contracts and on contract management.
What We're Looking For
- A completed university degree (FH-Diploma, Bachelor) in civil engineering with a specialization in structural engineering or a comparable field.
- Long-term professional experience in structural engineering.
- Practical knowledge in preparing design and execution documents for maintenance measures of civil engineering structures.
- In-depth knowledge of technical regulations and guidelines such as RAB-ING, RE-ING, BEM-Ing, ZTV-ING, RIZ-ING.
- Proficient use of MS Office programs.
- Negotiation-level German language skills, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge in handling CAD and structural analysis software.
- Relevant specialist knowledge about the direct award and processing of engineering services for structural engineering.
- Knowledge of administrative structures and processes in road construction administration.
