Die Autobahn GmbH des Bundes is hiring a Civil Engineer - Building Construction (Electrical Engineering) to join our Building Construction and Facility Management department. In this role, you will focus on the electrical engineering aspects of ancillary facilities along the federal motorway network, driving innovative and sustainable construction projects.
What You'll Do
- Process ancillary facilities for operational maintenance (maintenance, care, cleaning) and structural maintenance (upkeep and repair) in the electrical engineering field.
- Create and review designs, plans, and tenders for all properties, including innovative projects like PV systems, hydrogen filling stations, e-mobility, and wind power.
- Manage construction projects using the BIM method through to acceptance and settlement of construction services.
- Prepare and plan construction projects for ancillary facilities in technical and coordinating terms, also utilizing BIM.
- Serve as the main point of contact for building construction projects, especially regarding efficiency, sustainability, and economic feasibility studies.
- Plan new construction, renovation, and maintenance measures, including cost estimation and preparing decision-making bases with alternative solutions.
What We're Looking For
- A completed scientific university degree (Master or Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering.
- Several years of solid professional experience in the described field of activity and in project management.
- Several years of solid experience in building construction planning, tendering, construction execution, and settlement.
- Thorough knowledge of legal foundations (BHO, LHO, ZTV, VgV, VOB, HOAI, HVA-F-StB, FStrG, Construction Site Ordinance) and the BIM method.
- Knowledge and experience with relevant software, especially MS Office, CAD, and SAP.
- Negotiation-level oral and written communication skills in German and a valid Class B driver's license.
