Invisible Technologies seeks a Chinese Translator – AI Trainer to help shape the future of AI. In this role, you will assess and refine AI-generated translations to improve grammatical accuracy, fluency, cultural nuance, and context sensitivity, providing the high-quality training data needed to power next-generation models.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and edit AI-generated translation outputs between Chinese and English.
- Translate content in both directions, from Chinese to English and English to Chinese.
- Annotate errors and provide detailed cultural or contextual explanations.
- Suggest improvements to translation prompts, evaluation methods, and overall model behavior.
- Challenge the model with complex linguistic elements like idiomatic expressions, ambiguous phrases, and various tones.
What We're Looking For
- A strong command of both Chinese and English languages.
- Clear, reflective communication skills and the ability to articulate your translation decisions.
Nice to Have
- A background in professional translation, linguistics, localization, or language education.
- Experience with technical, literary, or media translation.
