CloudLinux is hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead the strategic transition into Agentic R&D and Secure-by-Design Infrastructure. You will oversee the development of LLM-powered systems that automate security rule generation and harden our software supply chain. This role is central to architecting and driving our high-velocity, autonomous R&D organization forward.
What You'll Do
- Dismantle silos and shift the organization toward autonomous delivery units, fostering a culture of absolute ownership and high-speed execution.
- Lead the design and delivery of systems built for extreme scalability and enormous throughput, ensuring software architecture is never a bottleneck.
- Act as the ultimate guardian of technical integrity, ensuring rapid AI-driven expansion works effectively.
- Architect sophisticated AI agents that automate dev-ops, security research, and malware classification.
- Lead rapid prototyping to prove concepts and bypass slow discussion loops.
- Implement a 'Secure-by-Design' philosophy across the product line, focusing on SBOMs, signed builds, and eliminating base-image vulnerabilities.
- Champion a 'Less is More' approach, driving the move toward hardened, minimal Linux environments.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of technical leadership experience.
- Recent, hands-on experience in AI/LLM orchestration.
- Extensive background in anti-malware, network security, and neutralizing advanced persistent threats (APTs).
- Experience with systems ingesting billions of files and managing petabytes of data.
- A track record of providing unvarnished feedback and calling out 'Technical Bankruptcy'.
- Deep-seated passion for the Open Source community and a track record of high-level contributions.
- Hands-on experience in the development and orchestration of sophisticated AI agents for high-scale platforms.
- Experience building high-scale platforms with Identity-Based Security and Keyless Signing as defaults.
- Proven ability to architect and deploy complex, high-scale products.
- Proven ability to mentor highly skilled generalists.
