CloudLinux is hiring a Chief Technology Officer to define and lead its technical future. You will be responsible for transitioning the organization into Agentic R&D and establishing a Secure-by-Design infrastructure foundation. This role involves architecting LLM-powered systems to automate low-level security and harden the software supply chain at a global scale.
What You'll Do
- Dismantle organizational silos to build autonomous delivery units and a culture of Absolute Ownership.
- Lead the design and delivery of systems built for extreme scalability and enormous throughput.
- Act as the ultimate guardian of technical integrity during rapid AI-driven expansion.
- Architect sophisticated AI agents that automate dev-ops, security research, and malware classification.
- Lead rapid prototyping to prove concepts and accelerate execution.
- Implement a 'Secure-by-Design' philosophy across the product line, focusing on SBOMs, signed builds, and base-image security.
- Champion a 'Less is More' approach, driving the move toward hardened, minimal Linux environments.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of demonstrable technical leadership experience.
- Recent, hands-on experience in AI/LLM orchestration.
- Extensive background in anti-malware, network security, and neutralizing APTs.
- Experience building systems that ingest billions of files and manage petabytes of data.
- A track record of providing direct feedback and identifying technical debt and 'Technical Bankruptcy'.
Nice to Have
- Deep passion for the Open Source community with a history of high-level contributions.
- Hands-on experience developing AI agents for autonomous systems achieving millions of transactions per second.
- Experience building platforms where Identity-Based Security and Keyless Signing are defaults.
- Proven ability to mentor highly skilled generalists who own problems end-to-end.
- Expert ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.
