Hire Overseas is looking for a Chief of Staff to be a high-performing thought partner and operations driver for company leadership. This role works directly with founders and senior leaders to manage priorities, optimize team coordination, and ensure the executive office runs at peak efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage the CEO/founder’s calendar, inbox, and internal priorities.
- Serve as a gatekeeper and force multiplier by filtering decisions and streamlining workflows.
- Attend leadership meetings, track action items, and ensure timely execution across the team.
- Draft high-quality documents, memos, and communication on behalf of the executive team.
- Drive cross-functional projects by aligning stakeholders, setting timelines, and tracking progress.
- Establish structure around recurring operational processes like reporting and meeting cadence.
- Monitor progress across organizational priorities, flag blockers, and help solve for momentum.
- Liaise between leadership and teams to improve communication and reduce friction.
- Provide mentorship, structure, and oversight to junior Executive Assistants.
- Build scalable workflows and templates to make the executive support function more efficient.
- Act as a resource to ensure the executive support team operates with precision and alignment.
- Jump in where needed to stabilize or scale team operations.
What We're Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience supporting senior executives or founders.
- Proven track record in EA, Chief of Staff, Strategic Ops, or high-level admin roles.
- Comfort managing confidential information and working with C-suite priorities.
- A natural systems thinker who proactively improves processes and anticipates roadblocks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong executive presence.
- Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, Slack, and project management platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in startups, remote-first environments, or as a right hand to a founder.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring other Executive Assistants.
