Autodesk is hiring a Chief of Staff for its Tandem platform, reporting directly to the Vice President. In this pivotal role, you will act as a strategic force multiplier, ensuring the Tandem team operates with high trust, clear priorities, and urgency. Your leadership will be critical for managing business changes, supporting goal delivery, and optimizing team health and operations.
What You'll Do
- Design, plan, and facilitate VP staff and key stakeholder meetings to ensure effectiveness.
- Operate with an AI-first mindset, leveraging smart technology to bring insights and efficiency to daily operations.
- Maximize the impact of the VP Tandem staff by managing its operating model and assisting with team health and development.
- Manage the Tandem strategic planning process, including its roadmaps, metrics, and interdependencies.
- Identify key decisions and serve as a decision-making coach and facilitator, creating structures as needed.
- Develop and execute the organization’s communication strategy, including C-level tools and organization-wide forums.
- Ensure preparation for regular check-ins, interlocks, updates, and report-outs, often via presentations over Zoom across multiple time zones.
- Collaborate with the Autodesk Operations Solutions Chief of Staff cohort and operate as a leader within the broader organization.
- Define and implement standard operating procedures and structured systems to store and organize information that supports leadership priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in program and/or process management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business or Communications; an MBA is preferred.
- Proven accomplishments as a team builder and facilitator capable of establishing consensus in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Significant experience managing change across a complex organization.
- Successful background in building and executing broad technical communication plans.
- Ability to distill highly complex technical projects into simple, understandable components.
- Successful background in building and galvanizing effective teams.
- Experience with C-level presentation building and excellent communication skills.
- High proficiency with AI tools, Miro, Airtable, and Microsoft O365.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, and other project management tools and techniques.
