Dedalus, one of the world’s leading healthcare technology companies, seeks a Chief of Staff (m/w/d) for our Hospital Information Systems division in Bonn with hybrid home office flexibility. In this role, you will directly support executive leadership in strategic planning and execution, manage operational efficiency, and lead key cross-functional initiatives to advance our mission of making healthcare safer and more reliable.
What You'll Do
- Support executive leadership in developing and implementing the organisation’s strategic priorities and initiatives.
- Manage executive workflows, coordinate leadership meetings, and foster alignment of efforts across various teams.
- Act as a liaison between leadership and other departments to ensure clear, timely, and effective communication.
- Lead and oversee cross-functional projects, ensuring accountability and timely delivery of key milestones.
- Provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to support leadership decision-making.
- Take ownership of high-impact, ad hoc projects requiring urgent leadership attention.
- Help establish systems and processes that enable teams to work together seamlessly and achieve shared objectives.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a similar field.
- At least first job experience, ideally in the hospital/healthcare or software sector, or with exposure to executive leadership.
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English.
- High proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, and ability to work with AI tools.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving: Ability to see the bigger picture and break down complex challenges into actionable steps.
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deliver results against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Analytical skills: Proficiency in analysing data to generate meaningful insights for executive decisions.
- High emotional intelligence: Empathetic and attuned to the motivations and concerns of both executive leaders and teams.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge in the field of healthcare IT or e-health is an advantage.
