Responsibilities

  • Oversee the credit risk management process.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
  • Manage the credit portfolio to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze credit data to identify trends and make recommendations.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align credit strategies with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead a team of credit analysts and officers.
  • Review and approve credit applications and decisions.
  • Monitor and report on credit risk and portfolio performance.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize credit losses.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on credit policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments.
  • Manage relationships with external credit agencies and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain credit risk models and analytics.
  • Prepare and present credit reports to the board and senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit risk management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of credit data and records.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Ensure the effective use of credit technology and systems.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to credit operations.
  • Provide support to other departments on credit-related matters.
  • Ensure the timely resolution of credit-related issues and disputes.

Nice to Have

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
