Responsibilities
- Work alongside engineering teams to support technical projects, research efforts, and emerging technology development.
- Apply engineering knowledge and technical abilities in lab, production, and field settings.
- Help design experiments, gather data, analyze results, interpret findings, and maintain thorough documentation.
- Support initiatives in process design, process development, process safety, and ongoing operational improvements.
- Assist in creating, testing, and deploying new technologies, tools, and engineering approaches.
- Keep precise records in laboratory notebooks and engineering files to ensure traceability and adherence to procedures.
- Take part in team discussions, technical evaluations, and collaborative efforts across disciplines to understand complex engineering problems.
- Participate in learning programs, training sessions, and mentorship opportunities to grow technical and professional capabilities.
- Develop and present summaries of project goals, technical activities, and outcomes to colleagues, supervisors, and leadership at the end of the internship.
- Help diagnose, service, calibrate, or enhance lab and testing equipment under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by the team.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $28 to $32 for individuals working in person at the Alameda, CA location.
