Barclays is hiring a Change Delivery Manager to manage change projects that help the Bank achieve its strategic objectives. You will support the execution of impactful, business-led and regulatory change across the Bank’s Data and Records Management estate, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Manage change projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and to required quality standards.
- Develop and manage project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management and external partners, to inform about progress and meet needs.
- Manage project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and necessary skills to deliver objectives.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within agreed budget.
- Create reports on project progress to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage project risks, ensuring risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies are identified, assessed, and mitigated.
- Facilitate change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure successful implementation.
- Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
- Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements.
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management, on functional and cross functional areas of impact.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.
- Collaborate with other areas to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
- Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes.
- Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Define and oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring alignment with organisational and regulatory goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and clear communication among technical staff and business partners.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies, adapting plans, and escalating appropriately.
- Monitor project performance through metrics and reporting, providing senior leadership with timely updates.
What We're Looking For
- Experience defining and overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technology projects.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
- Experience identifying and managing project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Experience monitoring project performance through metrics and reporting.
- Deep familiarity with project management delivery methodologies and stakeholder management.
- Confidence operating in technically complex environments and understanding technical concepts such as metadata, data quality controls and lineage.
