At SGS Australia / Fulcrum Robotics, we are looking for a Certification Center Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring correct and timely Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issuance in relation to productivity and quality targets.
What You'll Do
- Ensure correct and timely Certificate of Conformity (CoC) issuance in relation to productivity and quality targets.
- Assess product and/or exporter risk levels, identifying product essential requirements and applicable standards following Business Rules, Conformity Assessment Instructions (CAIs), and other technical references.
- Provide quality and technical opinion on product standards, product classification, and certification.
- Assist in resolving standards, classification, and certification cases and other technical inquiries by utilizing your expertise on specific goods or commodities.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in an electrical field.
- 2 years of direct experience in conformity assessment or 4 years in testing, calibration, inspection, or audit within a relevant field.
- Knowledge related to your field of expertise (e.g., product design, manufacturing, testing, product research and specification).
Nice to Have
- Background in conformity assessment systems, such as accreditation, product certification, product testing, inspection protocols, or industrial metrology.
- Background in industrial standardization concepts, including international standards development and implementation (e.g., ISO, IEC, EN, ANSI, ASTM).
- Background in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or ISO/TS 16949.
Work Mode
This position is onsite and based in the UAE.
