FrieslandCampina Ingredients is hiring a Category Marketing Manager Encaps Industry to drive full end-to-end category performance within our OpCo Industry & Trading business. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing profit while reducing complexity across the portfolio, building and owning a strategic 12-quarter plan.
What You'll Do
- Build and own the comprehensive 12-quarter plan, covering innovation (NPD), productivity, and value creation initiatives (P+) to ensure a balanced pipeline supporting both short- and long-term growth.
- Analyze overall category performance, translating quantitative and qualitative data into clear strategic priorities.
- Conduct market analysis in collaboration with Commercial, Channel Marketing, and customer-centric teams to identify growth opportunities and margin improvement potential.
- Develop clear value propositions and compelling business cases aligned with customer needs and internal capabilities.
- Lead key cross-functional projects, working with R&D, Supply Chain, Commercialization, and QA/RA to deliver innovation, renovation, and design-to-value initiatives on time.
- Ensure seamless execution from product and packaging brief to launch planning and customer funnel management together with Sales and Key Account teams.
- Drive portfolio simplification by identifying opportunities for SKU reduction and efficiency improvements, balancing customer value with operational complexity.
- Actively drive cost reduction initiatives while safeguarding product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Represent Encaps externally by visiting key accounts, supporting customer-centric teams, and participating in industry fairs and distributor days.
- Act as a sparring partner for the FCP OpCo I&T Commercial Director and a connecting force across disciplines internally.
Team & Environment
You will join the Marketing & Innovation discipline working closely with OpCo I&T. This team operates at the heart of our B2B business, connecting market insights, commercial execution, and supply chain capabilities. The environment is international, matrix-based, and performance-driven. Decisions are data-informed, but success depends on collaboration and ownership.
