We are looking for a Category Manager/Content Strategist to drive the enrichment, accuracy, and strategic structuring of product content across digital platforms in a B2B food distribution environment. You will be the expert responsible for scalable content processes, high data quality, and a seamless customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Act as the subject matter expert for food-related product content, including attributes, claims, classifications, and regulatory considerations.
- Establish and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to drive content completeness and ensure consistent data delivery.
- Take ownership of one or more product categories and drive their growth through targeted content enrichment initiatives.
- Identify and prioritize content gaps or inconsistencies using category-level KPIs, customer insights, and platform analytics.
- Lead category attribution and enrichment efforts, ensuring accurate classification and taxonomy alignment to improve filterability and search results.
- Recommend and validate product claims in accordance with food industry standards and compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Product Information Management (PIM) team to implement structured enrichment workflows and maintain content governance.
- Create and manage category landing page structures, applying consistent tagging and messaging aligned with merchandising strategies.
- Review and analyze category-level KPIs to identify content improvement opportunities and measure enrichment impact.
- Ensure all enriched content contributes to an optimized, compliant, and conversion-friendly B2B customer experience.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in the food industry is required.
- PIM experience or strong skills in product information management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams and communicate with various levels of stakeholders.
- Technical skills in product data modeling.
- Analytics skills with tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Launch, PowerBI, or Tableau.
- Experience working with suppliers and in B2B distribution.
