Epiroc is hiring a Category Manager for Indirect Sourcing. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Safety, Maintenance, Engineering, and Finance teams across multiple sites within the region. Your mission is to drive Category Management with a strong focus on all local Indirect Categories and contribute to the execution of Epiroc's strategic sourcing priorities.
What You'll Do
- Develop, implement, and continually improve Category Strategies aligned with business needs and group objectives.
- Drive Supplier Relationship Management and build strong, long‑term partnerships.
- Lead cost‑reduction and value‑creation initiatives across the supported entities.
- Manage contracting activities, including negotiation, administration, risk management, and compliance.
- Support supplier development activities with a focus on performance, service levels, quality, and safety.
- Ensure access to the latest technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions within indirect supply markets.
- Strengthen supply-chain resilience by evaluating risks, ensuring continuity, and diversifying supply sources where needed.
- Collaborate closely with regional stakeholders to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment with Epiroc Group Sourcing priorities, processes, and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Represent the region in relevant internal and external sourcing forums.
- Secure the best possible supplier base, performance, sustainability, and compliance to meet Epiroc's strategic sourcing and operational targets.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably within indirect categories.
- Strong track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver business value.
- Expertise in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and risk management.
- Ability to lead cost-reduction initiatives and drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
