What You'll Do
Take ownership of a mobile engineering team, providing hands-on leadership and mentorship to developers working across native and cross-platform technologies. You'll shape the technical vision, ensuring applications are built with scalability, security, and maintainability in mind.
Define and enforce coding standards, architectural patterns, and development frameworks to elevate code quality and team efficiency. Lead implementation efforts using Flutter and React Native, while also delivering expert guidance on native iOS development with Swift and Objective-C, as well as Android with Kotlin and Java.
Collaborate closely with backend, cloud, and DevOps teams to integrate APIs, implement authentication flows, enable offline functionality, and streamline CI/CD pipelines. Ensure smooth deployments to the App Store and Google Play, with monitoring and automation in place for long-term reliability.
Work alongside product managers, designers, and QA to align development with business goals, manage sprint planning, and maintain delivery timelines. Champion innovation by staying current with emerging mobile technologies and promoting knowledge sharing across the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading mobile development teams, with strong technical expertise in both cross-platform and native frameworks
- Deep knowledge of Flutter and React Native, including performance optimization and state management
- Proficiency in iOS development using Swift or Objective-C and Xcode
- Proficiency in Android development using Kotlin or Java and Android Studio
- Experience designing scalable mobile architectures and enforcing best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, app store deployment processes, and monitoring tools
- Hands-on experience with Azure integrations is preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with backend, cloud, and product teams
- Ability to document technical decisions and lead knowledge transfer sessions
