May Shaw Health Centre is hiring a Casual Extended Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residential and home-based aged care clients. You will support our communities to celebrate life at every stage by delivering responsive and innovative health and aged care services.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care to assist residents to maintain independence and dignity related to activities of daily living and lifestyle.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team inclusive of other ECAs, Hotel Services, Lifestyle, Nursing and other staff to achieve the best care outcomes.
- Complete all documentation in an accurate and timely manner, and assist with assessments and reviews as necessary.
- Demonstrate consideration, understanding and respect for clients and their families at all times in all interactions.
What We're Looking For
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent).
- Experience in an Extended Care Assistant or Personal Care Worker role.
- Ability to work across all shifts.
- A current Police Check (not more than 12 months old).
- COVID and Flu vaccinations.
