Colac Area Health is looking for a Casual Administration Reliever to join our team. In this role, you will provide effective reception and administrative services across Barwon Health sites, ensuring administration functions support our core principles of patient access and patient-centred care.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, and callers, delivering professional, friendly service and accurate information.
- Manage telephone enquiries and direct calls or messages to the appropriate staff or departments.
- Process patient registrations, correspondence, and data entry in IPMS and other systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with clinic operations, including the Needle and Syringe Exchange Program and the accurate handling of cash and banking procedures.
What We're Looking For
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence and reliable transport (to be presented for verification).
- Demonstrated experience in a busy reception role, providing clerical and administrative duties in a confidential environment.
- Excellent keyboard and computer literacy, with proficient use of the Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic information systems and databases.
- Courteous and respectful behaviour in all interpersonal interactions and consistent application of principles of confidentiality and patient privacy.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
