Colac Area Health is seeking a qualified Speech Pathologist to join the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team at the Belmont Community Rehabilitation Centre. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services while demonstrating collaborative professional leadership and supporting the development of less experienced colleagues and students.
What You'll Do
- Deliver evidence-based assessment, diagnosis and rehabilitation for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to develop goal-directed rehabilitation plans with consumers and carers.
- Provide supervision, teaching and support to Grade 1 Speech Pathologists, Allied Health Assistants and students.
- Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and clinical projects aligned with service priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Speech Pathologist eligible for Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrated experience delivering speech pathology services, particularly in neurological or rehabilitation settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development and continuous quality improvement.
