MyFlorida’s Department of Management Services is hiring a Case Processing Manager I to supervise the Case Initiation Team in Region 3 at the Tampa Service Center. This leadership role is a fit for critical thinkers who thrive in a customer service environment focused on child support case processing.
What You'll Do
- Manage a team of 10 operational staff.
- Function as an administrator, coach, and advisor, providing training to team members.
- Work with the Service Center Manager to develop, implement, and monitor operational plans.
- Determine resource needs and shift available resources to ensure high productivity.
- Analyze existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Current employment with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- One year of experience processing Child Support cases in a government or private program.
- One year of experience in formal coaching or mentoring, including monitoring, staff development, training, and performing on-the-job training.
- One year of experience reviewing and applying policies and procedures.
- One year of experience in conflict resolution, solving complex problems cooperatively through interpersonal communication with employees, partners, or the public.
- Experience communicating through a variety of methods (report writing, public speaking, correspondence, email, meetings, etc.) to diverse internal and external audiences.

You will lead a team of 10 operational staff as part of the Case Initiation Team in Region 3 at the Tampa Service Center, reporting to the Service Center Manager.
