Jacoby & Meyers is looking for a Case Manager Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support case management through file opening, initial investigation, client communication, and adjuster coordination in a fully remote work environment. You will be a key part of ensuring our clients receive efficient and effective support.
What You'll Do
- Open claims and send letters of representation.
- Send correspondence to clients, insurance carriers, and defendants.
- Request and review investigative reports, such as police reports and incident logs.
- Learn to effectively use the ACT case management system for task and time management.
- Assist the Case Manager on day-to-day tasks.
- Confirm policy coverages and information.
- Prepare written DMV and adjuster correspondence for the Case Manager’s review.
- Perform asset, DMV, and policy limit searches.
- Assist clients with scheduling vehicle inspection, repair, and rentals.
- Confidently discuss the handling of property damage with clients.
- Identify all claimants and defendants in all scenarios.
- Obtain recorded statements and schedule investigator visits and expert inspections.
- Communicate with adjusters regarding liability.
What We're Looking For
