Garner Health is hiring a Vice President of Carrier Relations to cultivate and manage relationships with the largest national and regional health plans. This strategic role focuses on partnership development and shaping the integration of Garner's product into carrier ecosystems to ensure partnership viability.
What You'll Do
- Manage and cultivate strategic relationships with carriers and TPAs, including oversight of Direct Owned Relationships, a Health Plan Advisory Board, and External Health Plan Advisors.
- Advance strategic alignment across underwriting, contracting, and benefit design to optimize Garner’s market fit and integration requirements.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for carrier-level issues.
- Provide essential market insights and back channel support to inform Garner's product strategy, go-to-market plans, and health plan sales priorities.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience working in the employee benefits consulting space.
- 10+ years of relationship management experience with national and regional health plans.
- A history of existing relationships in the national and regional health plan space with intimate knowledge of their inner workings.
- Experience cultivating and managing a highly influential network of health plan advisors.
- Ability to manage complex projects and achieve results against tight deadlines.
- A desire to work in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
- A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the healthcare system.
Team & Environment
You will collaborate closely with the Revenue, Product, and Marketing teams and report to the SVP of Strategic Alliances.

- Compensation: $336,000 - $400,000 + equity: Eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.
