Stepful is looking for a dedicated Career Coach to join our career services team. You will focus on supporting our graduates as they navigate the job market within the healthcare sector, leveraging your coaching skills to help them achieve their professional goals.
What You'll Do
- Provide group and one-on-one career coaching to students navigating their job search in the healthcare industry.
- Help students construct and refine their resumes and cover letters for healthcare employers.
- Conduct mock interviews focused on healthcare sector scenarios, providing feedback and improvement strategies.
- Assist students in identifying and engaging with professional networks, alumni, and healthcare employers.
- Aid students in developing efficient job search strategies and understanding healthcare role application processes.
- Coach students on developing essential soft skills such as communication, empathy, teamwork, and stress management.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, requirements, and opportunities in the healthcare industry.
- Guide students in understanding various healthcare career pathways and setting realistic objectives.
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct proactive and regular outreach to students to engage and motivate them.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a career coach, counselor, or in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire confidence.
- Familiarity with career development theories, coaching techniques, and counseling practices.
- Proficiency in using online teaching tools and technology (Zoom, Calendly, Google Suite).
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Psychology, Career Counselling, or a related field.
- A background in healthcare or related studies.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
- Strong understanding of job market trends, especially in the healthcare sector.
