Responsibilities
- Conduct visits of at least one hour
- Facilitate introductions for all new clients
- Maintain continuity of care by visiting the same clients to build meaningful relationships
- Provide companionship to ensure regular and meaningful social interaction
- Assist with everyday tasks including meal preparation and light housework
- Accompany clients to appointments or shopping trips
- Support clients with personal care such as bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming to promote health and independence

- Some experience working in a care setting or interacting with older people
- Personal experience caring for a family member or voluntary care experience
