AECOM is hiring a Capture Management Director

About the Role

This role leads the design and implementation of capture strategies for major projects, coordinating with technical, pricing, and executive teams to position solutions effectively and increase win probability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end capture planning for large, complex proposals
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities aligned with strategic objectives
  • Develop win strategies in collaboration with solution teams and subject matter experts
  • Manage cross-functional teams throughout the capture lifecycle
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning and differentiation
  • Oversee development of solution concepts and value propositions
  • Coordinate customer engagement strategies and executive outreach
  • Track and report on capture metrics and performance indicators
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance and approval processes
  • Mentor junior capture and proposal professionals
  • Integrate pricing and cost strategies into capture planning
  • Facilitate solution design sessions with technical leads
  • Evaluate risks associated with proposed solutions and partnerships
  • Support teaming decisions and subcontractor selection
  • Align capture efforts with long-term market growth strategies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client priorities and industry trends
  • Drive internal readiness assessments prior to proposal kickoff
  • Coordinate bid/no-bid recommendations with leadership
  • Ensure consistent use of capture tools and methodologies
  • Promote lessons learned and best practices across the organization
