Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is looking for a Veterinary Care Coordinator (Call Center Representative) to join our growing team. This remote role involves providing compassionate customer service and guiding pet families through sensitive conversations about end-of-life and quality-of-life care.
What You'll Do
- Guide emotional conversations in a calm and peaceful manner, covering end-of-life care, quality-of-life discussions, and pets with behavioral challenges.
- Handle a high volume of customer service calls in a remote work environment.
- Gather and accurately document pet medical information to schedule appointments effectively.
- Meet all productivity, quality, and performance standards.
- Go above and beyond to provide stellar service to pet families and our veterinarians.
- Be punctual and adhere to schedules, break times, and work deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a high call volume, customer service, or call center environment.
- A wired Ethernet connection is required; satellite and hotspots are not supported.
- Ability to quickly learn custom software and programs like Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Five9, and Zoom.
- Previous experience in a work-from-home environment or working with minimal peer interaction.
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to new processes.
- Consistent, on-time attendance for the entire duration of every shift.
- Attendance of the mandatory 4-week intensive training program at the start of employment.
