What You'll Do
Manage supplier commitments by tracking order responses, delivery promises, and schedule changes, ensuring clear communication between internal teams and suppliers.
Monitor on-time delivery performance and lead corrective actions when issues arise, especially for high-priority materials.
Build strong working relationships with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Marketing teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
Serve as the primary contact for suppliers on critical components, ensuring they understand and meet organizational requirements.
Support strategic sourcing efforts, including participation in purchase agreement programs and localization projects to identify regional supply alternatives.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Bring at least five years of direct procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or service environments.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SAP and Excel for data tracking and analysis.
Communicate effectively in English at an advanced level.
Show experience influencing peers, leading cross-functional initiatives, and managing projects successfully.
Have exposure to contract negotiation, conflict resolution, and supplier performance improvement concepts.
