Role Overview
This position supports the Defense Logistics Agency by delivering strategic analysis and technical insight into business systems. As a key contributor on a project team, you will assess how technology solutions impact business operations and ensure alignment with federal defense objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on the business impact of system implementations and technical initiatives
- Define system boundaries, goals, and requirements in alignment with organizational strategy and defense industry standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable system objectives
Required Qualifications
- Four years of relevant professional experience in defense or federal systems analysis
- Proven familiarity with DoD 5000.1, 5000.2, and associated implementation guidelines
- Direct experience with the Department of Defense’s Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process
- Working knowledge of ARIS for system modeling and engineering
- Experience preparing documentation for Defense Acquisition, including proper formatting standards
- Familiarity with the Defense Acquisition Executive Summary (DAES) and the Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR) system
- Current IT-II security clearance or active National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
- Holding a relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority is required
Technical Environment
Work will involve integration with DoD lifecycle management frameworks, acquisition policy documentation, and enterprise-level planning systems including PPBE, ARIS, DAES, and DAMIR.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is set at $75 per hour. Eligible individuals may participate in medical, dental, and vision insurance programs. Additional voluntary options include life insurance, accident coverage, and short- and long-term disability protection. A 401K plan is available for retirement savings.
