About the Role

TD Bank Group is looking for a Business Process Manager I to join our FCRA Center of Excellence. You will use your bank operations knowledge to partner with business lines, analyze processes for improvement, and lead a team of professionals to enhance operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze current business processes and procedures to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Increase operational efficiency and provide business line project support.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and service level reporting.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned units.
  • Provide people management leadership, including hiring, goal setting, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead a team of professionals and may be accountable for leading projects within a business area.
  • Ensure communication, implementation, and/or training plans are detailed and executed for projects/initiatives.
  • Manage 25 processes of medium complexity.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements and/or automation opportunities.
  • Gather, prioritize, and explain user requirements to support project activities and process improvements.
  • Serve as a consultant, providing advice, business expertise, and recommendations on business and/or operational processes.
  • Prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines.
  • Represent the business and provide coordination with external service providers and other bank areas on major projects.
  • Use project management software/tools and templates to prepare documentation, track, monitor, and report information.
  • Ensure accuracy in preparing and completing all required supporting documentation for assigned projects/tasks.
  • Identify, take ownership of, and/or assist with resolution of issues as they arise.
  • Participate as a team member in executing assigned deliverables.
  • Keep business leaders and team members informed on project status and day-to-day activities.
  • Continuously develop knowledge in own area to support the project team and business.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of bank operations experience.
  • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Suite software.
  • Aptitude and training in Lean, Six Sigma and AOM with goal of getting some level of certification and expertise.
  • Expert level requiring advanced business knowledge, with the ability to consult on the largest and most complex projects.
  • Skilled in research, analysis, problem solving, metrics and reporting.
  • Ability to identify process gaps and weaknesses.
  • Strong interpersonal and influence skills to enable change without direct control.
  • Ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations in a methodical manner.
  • Skilled in time management and driving tasks to completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of FCRA regulation, CRRG, Metro 2 guidelines, consumer credit, and/or deposit reporting.
  • Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholder in the LOB and risk/control partners.
  • Credit bureau reporting experience.
