Drive the expansion of a global payment network by building strategic relationships with payment service providers, acquirers, and large-volume merchants. In this role, you'll lead end-to-end enterprise sales and shape regional strategies to scale merchant adoption and transaction volume across key digital sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop partnerships with payment processors, acquiring institutions, and major merchants to accelerate regional growth in transaction volume and merchant coverage.
- Lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and outreach to negotiation, commercial structuring, and post-deal integration—ensuring rapid onboarding and activation.
- Establish trusted relationships with senior executives at partner organizations, using regulatory insight and market positioning to secure strategic agreements.
- Design and implement regional go-to-market strategies focused on high-growth verticals including gaming, e-commerce, digital services, online travel, and trading platforms.
- Work closely with product, legal, compliance, and marketing teams to adapt solutions for local markets and co-develop initiatives that boost merchant engagement and GMV.
- Evaluate performance data to segment partners, refine pricing models, and enhance long-term profitability and ecosystem value.
- Track market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to continuously adjust strategy and support global expansion efforts.
- Deliver measurable results against targets for new merchant acquisition, acquirer onboarding, and transaction growth.
What You Bring
- 6–10 years of experience in payments, fintech, acquiring, or digital wallet environments, with deep understanding of card networks, settlement systems, risk frameworks, and payment infrastructure.
- Proven success in enterprise business development, including C-level engagement and negotiation in complex, multi-party deals.
- Existing relationships with key players in the payments space—PSPs, acquirers, processors, or financial institutions—within the target region.
- Experience operating in regulated financial environments, with strong awareness of compliance, KYB processes, and reputational risk in partnership design.
- A results-oriented mindset with the drive to build momentum in fast-moving, high-growth settings.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and shape scalable commercial strategies.
- Fluency in English and relevant regional languages to effectively collaborate with international stakeholders.
- Additional language skills are a plus.
