Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Business Operations Director to ensure all Project Management deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs are met. You will assist in defining immediate and long-term client real estate goals and strategies. This role involves directing project activities within an assigned geographic region or specific account.
What You'll Do
- Direct the overall development of new project activities and manage all current projects within an assigned geographic region or specific account.
- Work closely with the National Director or Account Director on staffing, future projects, and client relationships.
- Prepare project reports with conclusions and recommendations and conduct meetings with owners and project teams to resolve design development issues.
- Participate in structuring the selection of interior architects and other professionals, advising the client on final recommendations.
- Evaluate existing and proposed project sites and facilities against program requirements.
- Ensure the resolution of programming issues through project completion.
- Advise the client and project team on base building and interior project management.
- Evaluate and critique the progress of design development, budget, and schedule from the client's perspective.
- Refine existing Client Solutions Project Management services to meet potential client requirements.
- Communicate and promote these services to potential clients and other C&W professionals.
- Observe corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance.
- Strive constantly to improve skill and work knowledge, keeping up to date in your specialization.
- Cooperate with other personnel to achieve corporate goals and objectives for quality, service, cost, and profit.
- Report major problems, findings, results, and recommendations to immediate supervisor(s).
- Obtain buy-in for organizational changes, team commitments, and expenditures exceeding approved budget.
- Establish goals and objectives with timetables for the organizational unit and sub-units supervised.
- Select subordinates with supervisor approval; delegate necessary authority and responsibility.
- Train, develop, motivate, and discipline subordinates to meet goals; review and appraise their performance.
- Implement government laws and regulations and adhere to established rulings of authorities.
- Maintain portfolio CapEx plan and assist in preparing forward-looking Real Estate outlook.
- Schedule internal, external, and client resources on a portfolio level.
What We're Looking For
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years related experience in an engineering/construction project accountability role.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree.
Team & Environment
You will report to a National Director or Account Director.
