Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its team. This remote role is central to our fast-paced, mission-driven work. You will transform complex data into actionable insights using Tableau and other tools to directly shape strategic decisions and operational improvements across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Gather, analyze, and present data in clear formats to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data needs and build Tableau reports aligning with business objectives.
- Identify trends and actionable insights through data interpretation and reporting.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and BI tools to ensure high usability and performance.
- Perform data validation, mapping, and unit testing; write SQL queries to troubleshoot issues.
- Deliver scalable, reusable, and performance-optimized BI solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and visuals.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a dedicated BI Analyst.
- Advanced Tableau development skills.
- Proficiency in Excel (macros, pivot tables) and SQL.
- Strong data modeling and normalization knowledge.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and optimize dashboard performance.
- Ability to work in iterative cycles and exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and experience gathering business reporting needs.
