Swans is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to own the full data lifecycle end-to-end for client engagements. You will act as a strategic data partner, translating business problems into clear, actionable insights.
What You'll Do
- Own the full data lifecycle: extraction, cleaning, transformation, modeling, and visualization for multiple client engagements.
- Turn fragmented, messy data from disconnected tools into a single source of operational truth.
- Deliver dashboards and insights that give decision-makers a clear picture of their business and what to do about it.
- Layer in automation and AI to make data smarter, fresher, and less dependent on manual effort.
- Identify what data matters, figure out how to get it, and deliver answers without being micromanaged.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in a BI, data analyst, or analytics engineering role.
- Proven ownership of the full data lifecycle (extraction, cleaning, transformation, modeling, visualization).
- Builder mentality: you build, own, and fix data pipelines.
- Ability to translate data into insights that non-technical stakeholders can act on.
- Autonomy to identify needed data, figure out how to get it, and deliver answers.
- Curiosity to stay sharp on new tools, automation, and AI capabilities.
- Professional English fluency at B2 level minimum.
Nice to Have
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or agencies (rather than purely product/SaaS).
- Prior client-facing experience.
- Experience from a company of 50–200 people where you wore multiple hats.
- Experience with CRM and PM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, Airtable) as data sources.
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n) to streamline data workflows.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI applied to data workflows (e.g., AI-assisted data cleaning, summarization, anomaly detection).
- Portfolio or work samples showing a dashboard, pipeline, or project that drove a real business outcome.
Technical Stack
- BI and visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase)
- Data infrastructure (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, dbt, or similar)
- Automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n)
- REST APIs for data extraction and integration
Team & Environment
You'll join an international team of 10, expecting to grow to 30+ in the next 12 months. You'll be embedded in multiple client engagements, owning the data function end-to-end.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive salary.
- Performance-based bonus & promotion path.
- Flexible benefits.
- Career-defining growth investment: over $200,000 spent on team development last year (executive coaching, certifications, training).
Work Mode
This is a fully remote, global position.
Swans is an equal opportunity employer.
