About the Role

Neon One is looking for a Business Development Representative to be the first point of contact for new prospective customers. You will generate new sales opportunities through inbound website chat, outbound prospecting, and fast engagement with Tier 2 leads. This role is ideal for someone with grit, urgency, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with prospective customers through a multi-channel approach including calls, emails, social touches, and website chat.
  • Engage promptly with Tier 2 leads to maximize connection and conversion opportunities.
  • Use intent data to identify high-probability prospects and create qualified opportunities.
  • Follow prescribed processes for working leads and creating opportunities in Salesforce.
  • Maintain clean, accurate Salesforce and Salesloft person and account records.
  • Provide detailed notes for Territory Sales Managers when a new opportunity is created.
  • Execute Salesloft cadence actions in a timely manner and follow cadence instructions.
  • Meet regularly with Territory Sales Managers to review campaign performance.
  • Apply the BANT qualification methodology to assess opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handoffs and strong opportunity conversion.

  • Comfort participating in a rigorous interview process, including a mock call exercise.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, and outbound prospecting.
  • Experience using video tools like Vidyard and LinkedIn Sales Navigator in prospecting efforts.
  • Experience achieving or exceeding a sales or revenue quota.
  • Experience working in or with a nonprofit organization.
  • Experience using the Gong platform.
