ezCater is adding a Business Development Representative to drive growth through outbound prospecting. In this role, you’ll build leads and pipeline for managed accounts by calling and emailing prospects, understanding their needs, and securing meetings with decision-makers.
What You'll Do
- Call and email prospects to build leads and pipeline for managed accounts using outbound prospecting techniques.
- Achieve all input and output goals including contacts prospected, leads qualified, customer calls completed, meetings scheduled, and opportunities created.
- Qualify prospects by understanding their needs and use your knowledge about ezCater solutions to guide appropriate next steps.
- Partner with Account Executives to multi-thread into accounts, securing meetings with prospective decision makers.
- Work with other sales team members to ensure opportunities are understood and next steps are clearly defined via discovery and qualification calls.
- Accurately track activity and develop pipeline using a CRM, leveraging self-service reporting tools.
- Represent ezCater at various customer-facing events, including industry-focused conferences and tradeshows.
- Travel 25% of the year; including Sales Kick Off, Together Weeks, and customer visits when applicable.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Entry level (0-2 years) experience in sales development.
- Experience navigating prospective accounts at senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities and decision makers.
- Able to execute against required phone call and contact cadences.
- Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive, and results-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated success self-prospecting.
- Experience using prospecting tools like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Experience with G-Suite products and applications.
- Experience in navigating highly complex and networked accounts to map and understand key decision makers.
- Experience interacting with procurement and/or supply chain roles.
