Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned regions
- Develop strong relationships with independent insurance agents and brokers
- Conduct market analysis to understand regional insurance needs
- Present insurance solutions tailored to client requirements
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to structure competitive quotes
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Attend industry events and networking functions to generate leads
- Monitor competitor offerings and adjust strategies accordingly
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics
- Provide feedback to product teams based on market response
- Support onboarding of new broker partners
- Ensure compliance with state-specific insurance regulations
- Coordinate with claims and service teams to enhance client satisfaction
- Deliver training sessions to agent networks on product features
- Track and report on key sales performance indicators
- Manage pipeline of prospective accounts through CRM tools
- Negotiate terms with brokers to secure new placements
- Respond to requests for proposals from large commercial clients
- Promote policy renewals through proactive outreach
- Stay current on changes in workers compensation laws
- Assist in developing marketing materials for target segments
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal departments
- Escalate complex underwriting cases appropriately
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company underwriting guidelines
- Drive customer retention through consistent follow-up
