About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments via telehealth
- Diagnose and treat a range of mental health disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams when necessary
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment
- Engage in ongoing patient education and support
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Respond to patient messages within established timeframes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Stay current with best practices in psychiatric care
- Adhere to state and federal telehealth regulations
- Support continuity of care across treatment phases
- Conduct follow-up appointments as scheduled
- Evaluate treatment efficacy and patient outcomes
- Use secure telehealth platforms for all sessions
- Document clinical decisions and rationale clearly
- Coordinate care with primary providers if needed
- Manage patient caseload efficiently
- Address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Follow protocols for emergency psychiatric situations
- Maintain active licensure and certifications
