Octopus Energy Group is hiring a Business Development Manager to join the Commercial division and drive the growth of Octopus Zero Bills. This is a remote position within Octopus Energy UK.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute strategies to expand the market reach and adoption of Octopus Zero Bills.
- Identify and cultivate new commercial partnerships and business opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and manage the end-to-end sales pipeline for your territory.
- Work closely with internal teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the energy, utilities, or related B2B sectors.
- A strong track record of meeting and exceeding commercial targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
- Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously in a remote setting.
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. You can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom.
