Filix (part of the getXdone group) is looking for a Business Development Manager (m/w/d) to establish and expand our automated digitalization business within the public sector. You will be responsible for building this new business field from the ground up, focusing on full sales cycles, strategic market development, and partnership building for public sector organizations.
What You'll Do
- Conduct full sales cycles, from initial contact through consultation, pitch meetings, and contract signing.
- Strategically build the public sector business with a focus on building authorities, public agencies, municipal bodies, and housing cooperatives.
- Identify relevant decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers within the public realm.
- Develop compelling business cases and value propositions for the use of automated digitalization.
- Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to translate customer requirements into features, improvements, and roadmaps.
- Establish partnerships with associations, service providers, and industry networks.
- Attend conferences, professional events, municipal trade fairs, and public administration events.
- Continuously analyze trends, procurement procedures, market movements, and regulatory frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- Proven sales experience in the public sector, ideally with municipal authorities, building departments, public clients, or social service providers.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and action orientation—you spot opportunities, pursue them, and take responsibility for results.
- Experience marketing solutions that enable digitalization, automation, or process optimization.
- Ability to present complex technical or AI-based products in a way that is clearly understood within public sector structures.
- High degree of self-organization, goal orientation, and resilience.
- Excellent German language skills (C1+), confident demeanor, and professional communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
