Eurasia Group of Companies is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy in African markets, with an initial focus on Nigeria. In this role, you will spearhead business development, manage government relations, and provide cross-functional leadership across product, marketing, and sales teams.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new opportunities, partnerships, and clients across Africa.
- Build relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance.
- Align product, marketing, and sales strategies and resolve bottlenecks in matrix structures.
- Support product development aligned with market trends and guide marketing for strong positioning.
- Provide market insights and tools to boost acquisition and retention.
- Represent the company at events, conferences, and with media.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Knowledge of financial models, budgeting, and P&L management.
- Proven experience in business development and first sales/project launches for new products.
- Strong import/export expertise.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in public representation.
- Familiarity with R&D product launch methodology (research, customer development, lead generation).
- High PC proficiency.
- Nigerian citizenship.
Nice to Have
- 3+ years in business development, venture/startup environments, or import/export.
- Experience with agriculture products.
- Experience with Russian-speaking companies.
- Knowledge of tools like Trello, Asana, Notion, Airtable.
