Northwest Center is hiring a Business Data and Systems Analyst to serve as a vital connection between finance, data, and our core business systems. In this role, you will partner across teams to understand how our business operates, build meaningful reporting, and improve how we use data for analysis. You will play a key part in system enhancements and implementations, ensuring our tools and processes scale effectively with the organization.
What You'll Do
- Aggregate financial and operational data from core source systems, clean it, and prepare it for reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain models and dashboards for forecasting revenue, expenses, cash flow, and business scorecards.
- Measure critical financial metrics at both the company-wide and department levels to support leadership understanding of performance.
- Use aggregated data and business understanding to develop reports and analysis that support leadership decision-making.
- Prepare reporting and data for ad hoc analysis requests from senior leadership or executives.
- Understand organizational systems and help improve how data from different systems is organized and reported.
- Assist in the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and help ensure reporting continues to function correctly.
- Become a superuser for designated systems, including, but not limited to, Accounting, Analytics, and Reporting.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial statements.
- Experience working with financial systems, reporting tools, and data analysis (e.g., Power BI).
- Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with software implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain data clearly.

- Compensation range: $115,000 - $140,000
