OCBC Bank is hiring a Business Banking Senior Relationship Manager to serve clients in the South Fork, NY area. In this role, you will be responsible for an assigned portfolio of loan and deposit relationships with small business clients. You will solicit new business, manage risk and credit decisions, and service existing clients through the bank’s relationship management program.
What You'll Do
- Develop new banking relationships with business prospects.
- Service and manage an existing business banking client base.
- Achieve established goals as outlined by your manager.
- Work with branch partners to maximize sales efforts and cross-sell other products.
- Network with centers of influence, such as accountants and attorneys, to develop business.
- Manage the segment’s more complicated and important loan relationships.
- Evaluate credit information and requests, recommending appropriate loan structures to manage risk.
- Effectively negotiate with underwriters and clients to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
- Achieve sales goals for revenue, loan production, deposit balances, portfolio size, and client count.
- Actively participate in all business banking and retail sales sprints.
- Achieve call targets and product sales goals for cash management and merchant services.
- Participate in civic and cultural organizations and programs.
- Utilize prescribed selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of personal computers and department-specific software.
- Ability to read and analyze financial statements and tax returns.
- Strong credit skills necessary to evaluate loan requests.
- Good understanding of Cash Management, Merchant Service, and Trade Services products for business customers, with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Team & Environment
You will work under moderate supervision and collaborate closely with internal contacts to service clients.
Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $119,400.84 - $199,001.40 (USD).
